Minibus Driver Awareness Training
(£85.00 per session)

The Mini-Bus Driver Awareness Training is a half day course that will take delegates through a practical and theoretical assessment. The course will also cover using a tail lift and securing wheel chairs and buggies inside the mini-bus if the delegates request this.

The course is a pass or fail course, and on successful completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of competency to safely drive a mini-bus.

The entry requirement for this course is that all candidates must hold a full clean UK driving license and have held it for more than 2 years. You must be over 21 years of age.

You will be required to bring your own mini-bus to the training. If this is not possible you can use Hadrian School’s mini-bus but only if you work for Newcastle City Council and operate under the Passenger Carrying Vehicle Entitlement (section 19 permit).

We don’t hold set dates for the courses we are flexible and can work around your organisations requirements so just give us a call with some dates appropriate for yourself and we will do our best to meet your requirements.

The course is £85.00 per person, up to 2 delegates can be trained during one session. You can book a training session on request for dates that suit you. Friday’s are a good day to book, you can use your own bus or one of our vehicles.
