As a limited Company by Guarantee HEADS  business runs along side Hadrian School. All profit is ring fenced and spent on activities and resources to support Hadrian School meet the “Extended Services Core Offer”.

How HEADS generates income:

HEADS generate income from a number of different areas:

  • running a range of SEN Training Courses throughout the year for both professionals and parents
  • running a range of First Aid Training Courses
  • sale of publications
  • to let Hadrian School facilities to professionals and our local community

Business Success

Since April 2008 HEADS has madre contributions of over £600,000 being made to Hadrian School.

What impact has HEADS made to Hadrian School?

The profits that HEADS business activities generate have supports the following activities/resources in school:

  • 18 weeks of ‘After School’ clubs – including staffing and resource costs
  • 1 weeks Summer Playscheme
  • Wide range of lunchtime clubs
  • Residential experiences and activities
  • Educational visits for the whole school
  • Various educational experiences in school i.e. artists, theatre groups
  • Investment in school equipment/resources
  • Enabling school to facilitate Confident Parenting Workshops for parents/carers throughout the city
  • Adult training courses and workshops for parents/carers, staff and professionals
  • Better communication for parents/carers, signposting services, offering an open door policy

We work in partnership with numerous training providers, e.g. EQUALS, The Bridge School, Youth Sports Trust and individual consultants and can tailor a training event to suit your needs.
