Confident Parenting For Professionals

This one-day course is for professionals, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Pastoral Staff, Social Workers, Educational and Clinical Psychologists, or anyone who works with parents of children with additional needs in mainstream or a specialist setting

Based upon our handbook and DVD “Confident Parenting” this course will train practitioners in the successful delivery of parental workshops, to empower parents of youngsters with learning difficulties to confidently manage their child. The handbook and DVD is a result of innovative, specialist work, which has helped well over a hundred families come to terms with their child’s special needs, behavioural difficulties, sleep problems and acceptance of their child’s additional needs.

The course is led by June Ball, Senior Teacher at Hadrian School who has been running parental workshops at Hadrian School in Newcastle for thirteen years.
