Moving and Handling Training (including the moving of people) – 1 Day Course

The course covers a wide range of issues that are relevant to the moving and handling of people, including:
- Back and spine care
- Hazards in manual handling
- Injuries from manual handling injuries and their causes
- Assessing manual handling situations
- Principles of safe lifting
- Ergonomics
- Mechanical aids, hoists and slings
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations
- Working and communicating as a team
- Sitting, standing and walking
- Bed mobility
We can facilitate an inhouse session for up to 12 staff at your organisation for the cost of £800
1/2 Day Awareness Training
We can also facilitate courses on demand like our 3 hours awareness raising course that we facilitate in-house, so if you have a specific training requirement around moving and handling please get in touch to see if we can meet your needs.

The cost of the awareness raising session is £400.00 for the 3 hours, you can have up to a maximum of 12-16 staff.
